As the subject says.

And what model would you choose, yes, it’s a bit open, but not into the 100k £s

Fill your boots.

I like them all, which is why I posted.

Just interested in other people’s thoughts.

I'd plump for a JLC Master Control. Something like this:

ALS are the watchmaker's watchmaker and a Zeitwerk would be my choice, but it is also the top end of your budget. I think the entry to Lange ownership is a Saxonia and that represents quite a premium over JLC's entry point so that needs to be taken into account.

Is this a hypothetical question or are you intending to purchase?

I like this however, a bit too close to a Daytona.

I love the Zeitwerk, and yes, eventually will purchase.

I'd be tempted by something like the A. Lange & Söhne Richard Lange 'Pour le Mérite', which is a simple time-only watch, with a fusée chain.

Or possibly the 'Homage to Walter Lange', which is again relatively simple.

If I was looking at JLC, the Geophysic Tourbillon Universal Time would be a different look...

If it was a simple choice between JLC and ALS, the former would win for me. However with that said, I love the JLC Duometre a Chronographe;

Price is c.£35K.

Love it however, too big for my wrist.

Tried several on, no matter what I do my wrist stays the same size.

As said there’s a lot to consider but I would look at it in terms of what do I want from the watch - a three-handed, a complication, moonphase etc. And just to throw another factor into the mix, take a look at Glashutte Original. The Panomatic Lunar and Reserve models give comparable build quality (maybe not quite AL&S level) for a lower price point.

Still miss mine with a passion, but it seemed a good idea at the time

Getting back to choosing between JLC and ALS it would middle of the price range in the ALS range and face similar to the Glashutte above with more Complications

Just thought that I'd throw another one in, the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds.
