Bet many haven't seen this Audi before?

Hi anyone seen or heard of a B1 Audi Fox Avant? Have been told they were made for the US market

They so ugly I love it! Any in the UK? A
nd any idea on what they could be worth?

The Fox was the US name for the rest of the world Audi 80. The B1 80 was pretty much a photocopy of the contemporary VW Passat Variant.

The 80 Estate I think was the last Audi so named before the "Avant" name was coined for the C2 100 in 1977.






Can't find an estate for sale but this saloon shows a good one can fetch decent money.

They reverted to “Estate” for the C4 100. Have they gone back to “Avant” again?

My old primary school headmaster (back in the late 70's), used to have a brown estate one. I remember it parked in the carport in the corner of the playground. Forgotten about it for ages until I saw these photos.

These were reasonably commonplace in the late '70s and early '80s. They seemed to disappear quickly - I guess they must have rusted.

I remember sitting in one at a car showroom (my mother had a Polo then a Golf) - and being amazed by how brash the interior was, especially the almost luminous velour in the posh spec cars.
