Spotted - Silver Tamora in Manchester City Centre

Car looked great. Only the second I've seen out on the road.

It was probably me - I drive into town most days. I saw a rather stunning Red Tamora near Dunham a couple of weeks ago. Looking at your profile I wonder whether that was you (I was in a Freelander so you would not have noticed). Whilst there are a couple of Tuscans that I see from time to time(including a Black S from Sale that looks like it was crafted by the devil himself), I have never seen another Tamora/T350 around the Manchester area.

I think it probably was me in Dunham a couple of weeks ago. My girlfriend and I were having a general zip 'round followed by a spot of dinner at the Axe and Cleaver - (v. good).

I drive into Manchester in the Tamora most days - it's bizarre I've not spotted you before?

Have you got a sports exhaust? The car sounded fab through the streets near the Midland Hotel.

Thanks Patrick - I do have a sports exhaust (ACT Products). It does make me smile when the sound bounces of the buildings in the City.

I have owned the car for 2 years now and do drive between Sale to Manchester most days so it is a bit surprising that I have seen neither of you and vice versa. My usual route it is a bit convoluted but ens up near Deansgate but I always come home down the A56. Where abouts are you guys based?

I travel in from Warrington down M62 most days into Trafford park, probably why i haven't seen either of you. I too have a sports exhaust, TVR Power Super sports, the noise is addictive, can't resist the crackle on the over run.

Did you buy your car from CN's, think i looked at a silver one they had in, may have been yours?

I live in Gatley and come in most days down the A5103/Princess Parkway and then through the city centre past the Midland (where I saw you).

If you two have got sports exhausts, I'm going to have to get one...can't be upstaged should our paths ever cross on the road!

Can I add another Tam to the list.
All being well I should be picking up my new Tamora from Gorner's in the next couple of weeks. I live in Salford and work at Hope Hospital but occassionally have to go across the the University on Oxford road. As yet I havn't spotted another TVR, let alone a Tamora, on my travels around Manchester.

Do they invalidate the factory warranty?

keep an eye on the NorthWest site as we do PH trips to the Romper near the airport every so often.
There are loads of TVR's in Manchester. Most people do not use them to commute though.

I saw a dark T350 a couple of weeks back on Princess Parkway.

I've gone for the new formula red Tamora that shown on the Gorner's web site. I did spec-up a car for a build date in JulyAugust, however, as my original spec was almost identical (except for a few interior bits and pieces) to the one in the showroom and Mike was happy to make the changes to the stock car, I thought why miss the first half of the summer. Plus I was getting severe withdrawal symptoms after selling the Lotus and having to drive around in the wife's volvo.

Unfortunately not - I dont't pick the car up until tomorrow, but I have gone for the Anthracite wheels, with Jet Black paint. I'm glad you thought that it looked OK as I was a bit worried that it may have been "black" overkill.

You may see me quite a lot over the next two weeks as I'll be making lots of aimless trips to get to 1000 miles ASAP.

Doh - if I'd actually read and paid attention to your previous posts, I would have seen that you haven't got your car yet, making a 'spot' unlikely...

Yep. It looked good in black. A mean looking car. I'd imagine most things will get out of your way on the motorways when you come up behind them...

TVR power Supersports exhaust doesn't effect warranty. There are only 2 that don't. The other is the Blue flame, they make the OE spec exhasuts for TVR!
