I've seen a few so called Barnfinds in my time but this is truly remarkable.....

It shows that all one needs to keep a car in excellent nick, unused for 30 years, in an ordinary garage, is a couple of blankets and sheets completely draped over it, not this fancy car cover stuff needed.
I wonder what the car fetched or would fetch?, no doubt silly money I suspect. Why did the owner need to have another Escort when he already had one?, and why didn't the lady sell it on after he had died?; why store it away knowing noone would ever drive it agaIn?; was noone willing to buy it or had she forgot it was there?. If they discovered a 900 mile from new Reliant Robin in the same condition, would there be so much excitement over it? probably not.
