Shared Ownership in London – The Docklands and the

I'm new to London desperate to buy my own place. I'm minded to get a place through one of those shared ownership schemes.

I've seen three properties – two in the docklands, the first is the New Providence Wharf Development and the other known as Nova Court, part of the Limehouse development. With both flats I would get a 33% share for around 80k.

The third property is in East London, on Chigwell Row near Hainault Forest Public Golf Course and the Chigwell Private Golf Course. Here for around 100k I could get a 50% share.

I'd like to know what fellow PH'ers think about the two areas and about shared ownership.

As a bit of background I work in the City and do like to spend my weekends at going to the gym and relaxing opposed to boozing!
