Well, that's a no for me.

Not too bothered to be honest, I was only doing it to support a mate doing the final part of the London Classics.

Commiserations for me in the most patronising of junk mail.

I've done the last two years so i shouldn't really complain.

it's a no for me, and I'm not going down the charideeee route!

who's doing Cardiff Velothon, a much nicer more friendly event!

Wife just opened up the envelope whilst I was on the phone & it's a no for me this year. Can't really complain as I've been accepted 2 out of the 4 times that I have entered & have ridden the last 2 years.

I'm in! First attempt.

After entering and getting rejected 8-9 times for the London Marathon I wasn't expecting anything but a rejection, its what i've become used too.

Thankfully i'm feeling okay with my level of fitness! Started riding properly 2 years ago (mainly commuting) and i'm now up to 50mile rides, so gives me time to work up between now and the end of July.

I’m doing Velothon Wales. Looks good.

I’m away from home until Saturday afternoon so won’t know whether I got in to RideLondon until then. It’s the first time I’ve entered having previously enjoyed my annual rejection from the London marathon for 5 years or so.

And again a commiserations mailer for me. I've lost count now, I wonder if I'll ever get a go.

Yep, no for me.

Not too bothered tbh, would have only done it if I got a ballot place - but not for charity.

Saw they're doing a £500 deal for 2 places, with VIP morning prep at the velodrome, queue jump into your start wave, and showers and food at the end.. Which is a good deal tbh, me and my friend done it for charity last year and probably put in over £500 of our own money topping up the fund.

It's a no for me...gutted, really enjoyed it last year...never mind, just have to find something else great to ride, any recommendations? 100 miles, nicer on closed roads, not to bothered on location but nearer London ideally.

So, for the very first time I actually got a place in the ballot! Bit of a result/incentive to kick on with the health kick!

and it's a yes for me too.

I wasn't expecting a place and was considering the Salford Tri but that will have to wait another year now.
