Job description change at work
Discussion
Yesterday, I was told that my current responsibilities "don't justify your salary so we want you to be a regional sales manager now".
I was taken on as a technical sales person and as time has gone by I've become more and more technical/project manager type of person - with their blessing - in fact that was made more officially my role last year.
Now, with an hour's notice I'm told to effectively do a new job (alongside 90% of my current responsibilities) out take a pay cut.
For all I know this could be a great opportunity, and I'm going to treat it as such, but it still feels kind of shady.
No particular point to this post, just having a bit of a whine I guess.
