Post deleted... Clarification
Discussion
Hi - I received an email
If I've been caught in the cross-hairs of another ph'rs "post deletion" or "clean up" I do think that it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to "quote the post removed" in the email for future clarity?
Is this something that could be done???
Again I'm not questioning the moderation or the deletion just asking if the process can be made a bit clearer.

Hi,
Your reply to the topic 'How do we think EU negotiations will go? (Vol 2)' has been removed for the following reason:
Tongue in cheek, I know, but running a little close to the line with this comment!

Now if I've posted something that runs a little close to the line then fair cop I've got no issues with that - it was a friendly email so I can't have done anything that serious but it still makes me a little concerned...... Hello!
It's something we can look into, yes. I actually agree that we need to make things a little clearer so it should be something we can do in future...
Cheers
Thanks for the response - That deals with one aspect It's something we can look into, yes. I actually agree that we need to make things a little clearer so it should be something we can do in future...

The other element was more a question of was I caught in the crossfire so to speak or did I step over the line?

I'm guessing now in view of the extended time between asking and resolution it's probably too late to find out?

Just had a look back, and it is as the email you received sent; we know it was tongue in cheek, but it could be construed differently. The other element was more a question of was I caught in the crossfire so to speak or did I step over the line?

I'll drop you a PM.
