Right now, I know 3/10's of fk all tbh...only a passing comment from my Mother alerted us to the facts....
I wont know more until after the weekend tbh...
Just a little shocked right now.
ok. its manageable with various drugs. oxygen therapy is an issue if he ends up in a situation where he is given it but i am sure a card will be carried by him alerting to medical staff what his usual o2 sats are with COPD. Exception to this is if a person suffers a cardiac arrest then its bets off, 15lpm O2 once the AED has done its miracle work :0I wont know more until after the weekend tbh...

Overall, knowing he has COPD is better than before when nobody knew!
I have it (COPD) and was diagnosed middle of last year. I have a fancy inhaler that I use once a day... it makes me cough a bit (lot) but my breathing is much easier. The first inhaler/med I had gave me an amusing allergic reaction which is most unusual but the second one is fine.
The inhaler is called : Ultibro and contains Indacaterol and Glycopyrronium.
