Planning to get a 2nd car in the next 6 months, looking for a atom/exige/caterham approx £30/35k, but ive not had a 2nd car for 5+ years so ive lost my 2nd car policy NCB.....As i understand it NCB expires if not used? (IIRC it was with REIS)

My insurance is due on my daily next month. Option is to hold my NCB for weekend car and start daily policy with zero NCB (quick quote £400pa >£750pa) and move my 8 years NCB to new car. Alternatively, just start a new policy with zero NCB on weekend car.

Wondered what peoples experiences were?

Speak to your current insurer they may be able to offer a deal on both cars taking into account your no claims. If that doesn't work out some insurers can mirror your no claims from other policies if you show them your proof of no claims
