Estate replacement for my 159Ti

I’m starting to look for a replacement for my Alfa 159, mainly because I want something slightly bigger but also because I like to change cars often and try new stuff!
So ideally looking for an estate, a bit quirky but still cool. Also has to be fun but I don’t need a racecar, I have a DC2 Integra for that. Value would need to same as the Alfa so around £3000
Also want heated seats and sunroof (very specific here!)

Shortlist so far:
Volvo V70 (either T5 or D5)
Subaru Forester 2.0XT
Subaru Legacy (3.0L) or earlier GTB Twin Turbo

Issue with all the petrols is that fuel consumption is fairly terrible and I did 15,000miles last year in the Alfa.

Any other suggestions?

I have just bought a Volvo V70 D5 Auto. Super comfy getting approx 45 mpg but only done 500 miles. Seem to be great value for money. Worth a look IMHO

Ruled out the Accord unfortunately due to not being able to fit my double din Carplay unit without an all mighty faff.

Not keen on anything French either, especially Renault!

Any other 'sleepers' I've missed?
