Stoneleigh on crutches......?

Just wondered if anyone had been to the national show at Stoneleigh before? Is it the kind of place you could tackle on crutches? Due to a sporting injury (ruptured achilles), I will still be in plaster and on crutches and wondered what the show venue was like - very big? indoor? outdoor? stairs? etc. Worth going, even?
It will be frustrating enough having to let the wife drive the porker there, even more so if I get my sticks bogged down in mud every 2 hops when I get there! Anybody do wheelchair hire???

Fairly flat, mostly outdoors, however depending on where you're able to park might be a bit of a trek which also involves steps.
