B2 Audi Sport Quattro

Back in my youth my pal had a 1986 Audi 80 sport quattro. 1800 cc 4 door saloon.
I've tried to find the model details but cant seem to get any, i think it was a run out of the B2 before the facelift. I'd like to find a good one a buy it.
Any assistance appreciated.

That's a very very rare car that you're after. I would say the numbers are in the single figures. There was an earlier b2 2.1/2.2 quattro from 83 and 84 then the b2 facelift 1.8 you mention which was only sold in maybe 85? Down on power from the pre facelift so probably why they weren't that popular. I nearly bought the 1.8 model several years ago with '777' reg but decided I have enough cars. Anyway best log into classicaudi forum that's the best chance of finding one in the UK. Good luck.
