987 Drivers window auto-up

I can't stop the drivers window bouncing up and down when I close the door. I thought it was voltage related, as starting the engine to boost the battery stopped it the window bouncing. That no longer works. I can't lock the car as the window will continue bouncing all night and drain the battery. Advise please.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reconnecting, you will then need to put them down and up to reset the height setting.
