126 db !

I've borrowed a noise meter to test my exahust noise (not that it's much use now, see my broken stud thread)

However I've found that I can yell/scream at 126 db !

Is this a record ?!?

Not a record as such.
My friend recorded 122db on a flyby at combe (110 during sound check), and was promptly black flagged. Real shame his car flys round the track.
I would imagine mine is around 120db if not more being a similar spec and the fact it revs to around 8.5 rpm when it's fully prep'd.
What db is a standard F355 as one passed me in the street outside my house the other day and I swear it's about half the volume of my car.

GrahamJay - you can hire them from bookatrack for 9 notes, and they've been very good about me hanging on to this one longer than expected (until I could get my engine back together !)

dont know about an individual but the Loudest Scream By A Crowd was on July 5, 1998, at The Party in the Park, Hyde Park, London, UK, a scream by the crowd was measured by Trevor Lewis of C.E.L. Instruments Ltd. at 126.3 dB.
