PCCB bedding in process
Discussion
I was advised that it's important to allow the pads to lap down to the discs --- this happens over a period of time during which the the brakes can be used progressively harder and allowed to cool between.
Once properly lapped in, a number of mega stops to fuse the resins ... followed by a long rolling cool down, and they should be bedded in.
Can anybody offer better advice than this ?

I found this on the Pagid website ...
1. Bedding in ...
10 x low pressure stops from 90 to 50mph at 800 yard intervals
2. Heating ...
5 x medium to high pressure stops from 112 to 37mph --- max acceleration between stops
3. Cooling ...
Then cool for 3 minutes at less than 60mph with no use of the brakes
4. Recovery ...
3 to 5 low pressure stops from 90 to 50mph at 800 yard intervals.
Done.
I guess at this stage you let everything cool down !

Pagid appear not to differentiate between the two.
It's not so far away from the recommendation of JZM regarding the ST's which are running Pagid carbon disc pads.
To be honest, the problem I had was once bedded, trying to get enough heat into the pad to fuse the resins ... my goal was a whitening of the paint on the edge of the pad which, in road driving, was never going to happen.
