Just a heads up really....

A while ago I noticed the power discrepancy between my power meter and the Kickr was around 7-8% which is ridiculous. It didn't matter too much since I was using TrainerRoad with power match. I was talking to Wahoo the other day about another issue (their 12x142mm thru-axle adapter needed.....adapting...lucky my old man owns an engineering firm!) and mentioned about the power discrepancy.

I was told to update the firmware and then do a factory/advanced spindown which I duly did. I can now report that the power seems to be within 1-2W of the power meter and it also seems to respond MUCH more quickly to interval/target power changes or when switching to/from Erg and manual modes. When going from ERG to manual, it would often take 7-8 seconds to "catch up" where you'd basically be free-spinning....whereas now it's less than a second or thereabouts.

Just thought I'd give the heads up in case anyone is experiencing something similar.
