BMW E93 tyre sizes-255/30 to 265/35 19

Hi,

As anyone fitted 265/35/19 in place of 255/30/19? I'm looking to keep away from the elastic band and potential cracking issues but worried about the tyres possibly rubbing with the increase in overall diameter. All help appreciated!

I wouldn't mess with the standard setup personally. Also, remember that the fronts can also crack with the 35 profile, so I don't see what you are gaining?

A better ride hopefully. I know 265/30 is often recommended and that does increase the sidewall height slightly.

The usual recommended difference in circumference between tyres is 1.5% - in this case it's 5.1%.
