Does anyone have any insight as to what the demise of the MG Rover group may mean to all us K-Series powered Lotus owners? - I know a couple of people with MGFs (ahh, poor stupid b*st*rds) who are really bricking it as all the old stock is being sold off half price, no warranty...
From what I gather SAIC already owns the property rights to the K-Series engines, and the parts business was outsourced quite some time ago - which means spare parts should be readily available indefinitely.
It's very sad to say but even at half price I wouldn't touch an MGF with a barge pole, you'd never be able to sell it, mind you if your after a small car for a very cheap price the 25 might be a good bet.
