Renault Master Indicators

Hi all.

My 2003 Renault Master, 2.2DCI, has developed some dodgy indicators.

If i sit with the steering wheel straight and not moving, they work fine, as do the hazards.

Drive and turn the wheel and they go all erratic, missing flashes, sometimes not even working at all, they will work fine if I 'single indicate' (basically move the stalk on and off to replicate normal indicating)

Any ideas where to start looking?
