Active KEF eggs

These currently retail for £350 new and like most KEF stuff is not open to discount - every UK retailer has them at this price.
There is currently a used set for near enough half price on the bay of theives and they look like a cracking bargain.
These would be great in my kitchen and would give true stereo separation with a chromecast audio plugged in.
My dilemma, is that I have a decent KitSound standalone already and couldn't possibly justify this purchase.
I need talked out of this!
