Morning all

My mancave under my house is due a paint. I've got the quote from the dulux chap who has given me a swatch of colours, but I am after experience/advice as to what colour to go for.

It is currently white all over, with a dark grey tiled floor. Pool table is a light oak colour to match the desk tops with an electric blue felt, the furniture is black leather to match the tv stand. TVs on the walls (x3) are all black and there are blue led ambient lights throughout. The kitchen/toilet has a light terracotta tiled floor and an oak coloured worktop with a white ceramic butcher's sink.

Whole cave is lit with 20 soft white led downlighters and there is little natural light. Rads are white but the chap is removing them to paint behind - they will be kept as white.

I'd like to change the colour from boring white, but am wary of doing anything too drastic due to the lack of light - do I have any options? Thinking about painting the lounge bit (main TV, three seat sofa) a contrasting red and perhaps the rest of it a grey - but will this look dull and make the place seem oppressive and sombre?

One pic so you get an idea of setup:

Any advice welcome, cheers all!

A light(ish) blue grey colour would be my choice
