C63 PPP+LSD 2010 insurance

I'm likely getting one of these soon and having fun getting insurers to understand the PPP+LSD options.

Any owners of similar cars, how did you deal with this?

Its std parts as fitted to my now departed ppp saloon, The insurance never asked as they knew all about the car from the reg number,
So be truthful and just say what model it is and away you go.

The person in the call centre was as technical as my mum!
Computer says no kind of response.
Still haven't called back, I'm dreading chasing them tomorrow. They offer a very useful up to 90day two car changeover period (at cost of course) while I'm selling the CLS63.

Some other insurers just seem to have a cover all manufacturers option don't need to be declared statement.
I'm nervous of not specifically noting such things as these two options put quite a premium on a "standard" C63.

My understanding is that any factory fitted item (whether it be standard spec or option) will be covered without you declaring it as the details of which are avaliable via vin and reg, whereas anything you bolt on subsequently may well invalidate your policy unless you notify your insurer (there's mention of peoples cover being removed following something as innocuous as a wrap over on the mbclub forum).

I want to stick an LSD on mine at some point, looking forward to that one!
