M6 v10 problems help

Hi all wonder if anyone can help I have a BMW m6 v10 now off the road for winter the battery died awhile back so I got a new one . When starting the car it fires up runs for around 1 min then cuts out lots of fuel no wondering if any one could shed some light

First port of call really needs to be reading the diagnostic codes, ideally with a BMW specific tool. Odds are there will loads of fault codes stored due to the low/flat battery; clear all the codes, try to start the car again and then re-read the codes to see which ones have come back.
