Another new owner

Hi all,just aquired an 85 280i,Car seems pretty sorted but the steering has a mind of its own.By trade I'm a Porsche (front engined) mechanic so working on it will be no issue but looking for help from seasoned owners as to "common" issues.My daily drivers are 80s cars so I'm used to "querks" As a matter of course I've ordered a new steering rack,ball joints and track rod ends to change then get the geo set correctly.I bought the car blind from Ebay for what I consider a good price so am ready for any issues.Engine is strong,interior is tidy,if not a wee bit lary ! and apart from the steering all seems very well.
