What do you reckon?
Discussion
I have a business which doesn't pay great but it only takes up my day until 1pm. Sometimes I have to be there at other times but hopefully this will be more and more rare.
I can survive on what me and the wife earn but obviously I want more like most people. My background job wise is mainly low level sales, business wise I have ran a pub, had a small wholesale business and now have a sweet shop combined with a coffee shop. I'm 39 years old and relatively fit and healthy. Interests are cars, motorbikes and anything fitness based.
What I'm after is what to with my time from 1pm onwards? I could just ride my bike and live ok, but I don't want to live just ok ,so I need more money!
I am willing to retrain in most things, weather it be for another business or a job. Ideally I'd like to learn a skill that I could use to earn money when needed, but I know I will be lucky to find something like that.
So far I have thought of learning the following:-
A trade - plumbing/gas fitting etc
Car and Motorbike valeting and then hopefully detailing
Car body repair
Nutrition/fitness as I have a keen interest
....and that's it.
Any more idea's? as I am willing to consider anything. The only conditions are that it must pay reasonably well

A quick Google found your current shop. Is there not money in opening another branch or two?
Not really. The concept works well but it requires a lot of staff having two shops in one if you like. I could take it to a busy high street (if these things exsist anymore), but the traditional sweet shop thing i reckon may have had its day, plus the high streets are littered with coffee shops. The shop opened in 2009 so I'm after a change now.
It should be easier to expand an existing business than start a new one.

Nostalgia seems to be a growing sector, traditional sweets seem like a great idea for online sales, have you considered opening new sales channels, high street, mail-order, direct to public & wholesale website, Amazon and eBay stores, even franchise or the home party sales thing. The shop opened in 2009 so I'm after a change now.
