Agreed. Although I can see design cues from Bremont, IWC, Breitling, Zenith and more, you can’t argue with results. Nice use of colours and the dials look to be very well made.

The Pandial models are strongly reminiscent of the Speedmaster.

Good reviews and great value. Good find!

I always find it interesting that these 'new' / 'startup' / 'value' brands can create lovely dials, interesting decorated movements etc, but can't seem to do an integrated bracelet. Getting a snuggly fitting SEL is beyond them.

I suspect that would drive up R&D costs considerably. For a start-up, being able to source a decent quality leather strap (even made to their design/colour choice) of a known lug width creates huge early-cycle savings (well, cost avoidance). Consider the extra effort and cost associated with the development of end links, bracelet and clasp design and finding a manufacturer that can do this on their behalf...

I, for one, prefer straps for a chronograph. So much so that I have a few different ones for my chrono watches. And a pilot chronograph was traditionally presented on a leather strap.
