Does anyone still use film or has digital completely taken over. Just asking because I have a Colenta Processor and Durst enlarger sitting idle and I'm wondering if there is still demand out there for hand printing services and whether its worth firing the old girl up?
Or do I need to play catch up with the rest of civilization after all I've only just got into computers?

I think film will settle down to a hard core of users and artists, rather like vinyl vs. CD.

I took my last frame of film last year, with digital winning hands down on flexibility and speed. Have you tried it yet? That will help you decide.

Hand printing, I believe, will become something of a craft. Good hand printers have always been keenly sought and very hard to find. I have only ever found one good one outside of the college/uni circuit. Most pros would pay a premium for high quality print work.
