991 gt3.2 in the cold/snow ?
Discussion
I am due to collect my car this week ,but the forecast has me worried .I am due to collect the car on Thursday from Bolton and drive back down to the Cotswolds. The forecast is snow in the northwest on Wednesday and snow where I live on Thursday.
Most of the journey will be motorway but there is a 30 mile A road run from the motorway to home .
Will the car (more the tyres ) perform in such conditions ?
I would prefer not to delay it so need either some comforting regarding its cold weather grip ,or confirmation that the tyres really are crap
In the cold.

Yep - be really carefull - main thing is really smooth inputs, reduced speeds and be super carefull until they get warm (in truth they will never get properly warm - but initially they will be very trixie)
But do this and you should be fine - assuming the snow hasn’t settled as if it has I have no dea - but I did drive my 991.1 GT3 in all weathers, except snow and it was fine .
Enjoy your car

You’ll be fine, it’s common sense anyway when judging the conditions. Main thing the cup 2’s hate is standing water, they love to aquaplane... So on sopping wet motorways take caution.
The other thing to watch out for with Cup 2's in those conditions is they can be very twitchy on painted white lines in those conditions, i.e. when changing lanes. For the sake of a week, I think waiting is the right decision.

Not wanting to be captain obvious or rude but you are literally getting a 100k car in the uk winter didn't ever crossed your mind to stick winter tires for the rest of the winter and enjoy the car and pick up the cup 2 in the spring? Most of the journey will be motorway but there is a 30 mile A road run from the motorway to home .
