Hi I am looking for an aluminium handbrake lever grip for my Chim. I have tried Leven Technology via Prestige Performance Cars but they tell me they are out of stock and it has now been discontinued. I wondered if anyone had any ideas?

I don't think the TVR grip is bespoke. Perhaps Vauxhall or Ford?

I'd have thought an aftermarket won would fit.

This ^^^

Get onto the Chimaera enthusiasts page on Facebook, there is somebody on there who makes a set of Aluminium column/indicator stalks, handbrake lever, & steering column adjust lever. They make them in batches and regularly pop up on there.

The going rate when I got mine towards the end of last year was £65 for the complete set of items including p&p. Very happy!

I've only got around to fitting the column stalks so far though getmecoat

Hi, a bit late to the party! I don't suppose you can point me in the direction of where I can purchase one of these from?

A lady by the name of Anne Billyard sells a version of these. You can contact her on Billyard@tiscali.co.uk.

The handbrake cover & button that she sells are £36 posted to the UK.

Please note that Anne's version is not the spangly one above, but a plainer version.

Wondered what that hole in the tunnel was for🤪

I used a Tuscan Ali handle and got my brother to ream it out on a lathe as the hole dia is slightly too small.
At the time Tuscan handles were plentiful and cheap
