Looking for a 997 C2S Manual in Midnight Blue
Discussion
Hi All
As per the title really, Im looking for a 997 C2S in midnight blue with blue leather interior with reasonable mileage for somewhere between £22 - £29k subject to condition / spec etc.
If anyone has anything that fits the bill they are considering selling, please get in touch.
Many thanks
Dave

Sand leather, but midnight / sand does work well, had it in a Boxster S and it got loads of good compliments.

I wonder how hard it would be to get the top section of the dash re-covered in metropole blue leather? With a dark blue steering wheel and matching dark blue carpet mats that would be a lovely combination for the shape of the 997 dash.
Kind of irrelevant if you just don't like the sand beige colour though. You're the one who'll be looking at it, after all! :-)

I certainly wish you luck there, fella. Midnight Blue was one of the launch colours and for some reason didn't stick around for very long before being replaced by Zenith Blue which was much lighter. If you find one, it'll be a rare beastie. As per the title really, Im looking for a 997 C2S in midnight blue with blue leather interior with reasonable mileage for somewhere between £22 - £29k subject to condition / spec etc.

Midnight blue was available at the very least between 2004 & 2007 model years (and possibly until 2009 when the Gen 2 came along, the last Gen1 brochure I have is MY'07). It was replaced by "Dark Blue" in the Gen 2 and was preceded by Ocean Blue in the 996.Zenith Blue, a lighter hue, was generally available in 996/986s and was replaced by Cobalt Blue in the Gen 1 997 and then Acqua Blue in Gen2 997.
By the above I mainly refer to the two blues typically available as standard colours, one lighter and the other darker.

The Carrera with a duck tail looks v.nice I'd be negotiating hard given the weather conditions though it does have a good MOT history which is reassuring. Im also keen on this non "S", it looks a lovely car but STRONG money for a "normal" Carrera...
