Ladies of PH!

Anyone know why this pose is so popular?

Absolutely everywhere - how come? Aren't there any other ways of standing still for a minute whilst the press pack take a photo? Or am I missing something?

It is quite a flattering pose to use, and particularly for the famous ladies, they will be under some obligation to show off the inordinately expensive dress that someone has loaned them for the evening to its greatest potential.

Turn to one side, bend the knees slightly and put your hands on your hips. This helps accentuate the good curves whilst also slimming you; it's also why Victoria Beckham stands like a stooping old cripple, because she has the frame of a thirteen year old boy and is doing her best to hide the fact.

Also gives a good chance to show the jewellery that they've been paid a handsome to wear.

Indeed, Cpt Mannering had the other attributes, why not.

Who is the Umpa lumba to the right of the blonde woman. She looks like a prune that shrunk on the boil but theres definitely something nawty about her. Shes doing well on the TD stonkometer

The "blonde woman" is actress Amanda Seyfried and the picture is from the Oscars back in 2010. She was a teapot many times that evening.

That's all well and good but its the Roseanne lookalike I enquired about. I realise she is more Toby Jug than "teapot" but like I said its a high register on the TD s meter

If you could read lumpy’s mind, she’s probably saying, “That was me 500 quarter pounders with fries ago, must have been wasting my time with the diet cokes.”
