pioneer head unit

Has anyone got a Pioneer head unit in their Cerbera, the type with the pop out display. I am looking at the AVIC-X1R and I am wondering if it will clear the bit of the dash that sticks out above the stereo.
If any knows also if the Apline units clear it either.
