I'm on a biz trip and I'm stranded in a hotel in Scotland due to a blizzard outside. It is a nice hotel and does have a nice view, which I can appreciate in the moments when the blizzard isn't blowing.

Internet connection is so-so. Work not really that busy. I do have a rental car outside too; it's got summer tyres on it.

What should I do all day today?

Start legal action against the car rental company for providing a car not fit for purpose.

The car is a bit of a disappointment. It was snowing when I arrives and they didn't even put an ice scraper inside.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this story develops when reading about it in the Mail later laugh

1. Go to reception.

2. Demand all of their blu-tac.

3. When they give you the blu-tac, demand the rest (they always hold some back).

4. Search the rest of the hotel for any rogue bits of blu-tac that may have escaped detection.

5. Seal off an area of the hotel. Bar the doors and threaten anyone that attemps entry, especially the cleaners, they're always up to something.

6. Build an army of blu-tac animals. Scale and quantity to be driven by your success at points 2, 3 & 4.

7. Promote one of the blu-tac animals to General, so he can lead your army. (I suggest the blu-tac lion, it worked in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and there aren't many other examples for basis of comparison).

8. Take over the hotel.

9. Send a blu-tac pigeon to the local council offices. Declare the hotel an independent state under your rule.

10. Demand more blu-tac.

Knowing that driving it into a ditch is a distinct possibility, I took out the zero-excess option on the rental car which I normally pass on.

This does look like a top, innovative plan. I'm just wondering if I should do this before or after I search pornhub for dwarf porn?

With enough blu-tac, you won't need to watch dwarf porn. You can construct your own dwarf and associated accessories, including casting couch, stage lighting and sweaty cameraman.

With enough blu-tac, you can do almost anything!

Except maybe wash away the shame of humping a life-size replica of a dwarf constructed out of second-hand blu-tac.

That kind of stuff stays with you....

Skids in the car park. Snow makes every car a drift car.

What the hell. I'll just take the car out for some circle work. I'll keep it close to the hotel and if it gets stuck I'll just walk back to the hotel and get the car when the snow melts a bit.

Then I'm gonna get the blu-tac, fashion it into a dwarf, maybe an oriental looking dwarf, and do bad things to it.

I was once stuck for days in a hotel in Dallas during a bad ice storm. No deliveries. Nothing in or out unless you had ice skates which are not common accessories in Texas.

The hotel began to run out of food in a few days and my final meal was some kind of frozen hors d’oeuvres that appeared to be historically mummified dim sum.

Eventually it thawed and all the pickups resumed their progress.

OP, are we really to believe that one of PH's finest powerfully built directors didn't bring his buxom secretary along with him on this trip...?
