My 8v integrale project April 2016 to now.
This was my first go at painting a car. It took a few months and loads of paint but it came out nice. Big thanks to the Gaffer at Motor Colours Oldham who blended the shade I wanted and told me what to do.
Its a 2 pack solid close to rosso corsa but a bit ‘bloodier’.
I also have an original 8v bonnet but I dont know yet if everything will fit under.
Getting the bumper to fit over the bigger radiator and intercooler proved tricky.
I also changed the engine bay lay out and modified the bulkhead to accomodate the change to wasted spark.
I also modified the heater box building on Andrew Wright’s inpirational modification method.
You start with a delta heater box and a small heater unit from car builder solutions.
Using some mesh, timber, scissors and an angle grinder to chop the old box up you get:

Zero exhausts manifold test fit. GT2860rs turbo.
Ceramic coated from manifold to tail pipe.
Wiring and enginebay development. Plenum extension to increase post throttle volume for primary purpose of reducing pressure fluctuations to increase stability of the MAP sensor output.
The ignition, fueling and turbo is to the specification of Nikola Radenkovic RP labs co-founder.
The engine is built by Guy Croft to his ‘fast road’ spec. Also Mr Croft’s calculations govern the dimensions of the exhaust.
After an hour of running in last year the cams were tapping like crazy. The supplied cams from a reputable company had not been hardened so now my engine is being rebuilt and the car is in bits again. The lancia way.
When it was out it made 1.3bar from 2800rpm to the redline and felt solid and quick.

Supplementary gauges and lambda with dual map missile switch!
If I keep a subaru brat near it some reliabilty might rub off on to it. It can only be a good influence.
