Audi 2002 A3T advice needed.
Discussion
Afternoon all..I have a silver, 5 door, 1.8 Audi A3T sport, manual, petrol with 91k on the clock, full Audi service history, 3 owners including myself..I have had the car just over a year brought for £1500...so far I have replaced all 4 tyres to low profile tyres, re-aligned/rebalance complete, I have replaced all oil filter housing & oil , replaced number plates due to water damage, replaced all bulbs, replaced clutch, replaced front wipers & motors, fixed central locking, replaced drivers door handle mechanism inside door card....at estimate all costing around £700/£800.
I have booked car in garage for timing belt, aux belt, water pump, coolant and pollen filter to be replaced costing around £420...and I intend in a month to change all break fluid costing £50...I also believe I have a faulty outside air temperature sensor cost £60 hour diagnosis. In my last M.O.T as an advisory my rear coil springs are starting to corrode...
To make matters worse I slide in the snow going round a corner and hit my passenger side wheel off the curb now my wheel is sitting to far back I believe I need to replace my control arm and track rod end...
Does anyone know of or own a similar car and think it is worth my time getting it all fixed up or shall I just get rid?
Sorry it's long in need of advice and thought the more detail the better
thanks in advance.
