Have a new set on the rear of the Ultima, the tread is very aggressive close to slicks and they will be rubbish in the wet.

In the dry they really hang on, ride well, I think it will be outstanding for grip on the track and would think an Ultima on these would easily beat a Caterham 7 on Avon ACB10 ( I have raced both !!)

Bad news, they are looking very worn already having covered just 350 miles of gentle G Man driving.

I will return to a set of Goodyear F1 for road use and use the Kuhmo for track days

Whilst I am on much narrower tyres than you I can happily report that the tyres are much better in the wet than they look. They used as rally tyres after all.

Providing you don't hit standing water!

Just got caught in a rain shower, on wet tarmac I can spin the wheel in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th.

Even in 6th at 50mph I spin the wheels
