CJ Autos Hydraulic Car Ramps
Discussion
These CJ Autos hydraulic ramps have been discussed before & I know a few TVR guys have used them due to a low shallow ramp.
Does anyone know if they will go under the front end of a Griffith without extenders before I pull the trigger?

I drove round to CJ Autos today cos only an hour away, cast my tape measure over them and decided to go for it.
I am relieved to report yes they will go under the front of a Griff without extenders and work well.
I think we have the opposite problem to crowfield with the Griff and did as he suggested for the Chimaera rear, and positioned carefully to one side.

As others have said - they go under a TVR no problem at all.
I have another problem, which is one 'side' has stopped working at all ( ie one side of he pump lifts, the other doesn't).
Has anyone managed repair them/refill them?
If I look at the pump - there is:
- a large knob to release the pressure/let the ramps down (with red on it)
- a flat head screw bold, which you can use to 'calibrate' the lifts so they go up together (some silver metal showing)
- a inset nut (in the middle) which looks like it should be a drain plug (black)

I cannot for the life of me undo the drain plug, and cannot refill it with hydraulic oil via the other two (it just doesn't fill up)
Any thoughts? - really annoying as I have one working ramp at the moment ...

try taking it to your local Pirtek hydraulics place - they will service your cylinder (ooo eeer mrs) or tell you where willI have another problem, which is one 'side' has stopped working at all ( ie one side of he pump lifts, the other doesn't).

I have a set and needed the extenders for my chimaera.
They make a newer version which are lower and also lift vertically. If i didn’t already have the other version I’d consider getting two pairs of these to lift all 4 wheels.
