Headlight Surrounds

Hi should my headlights have a chrome/black surrounds covering the mounting and adjustment screws? Thanks J C.

Yes. IIRC they are moulded from fibreglass or thin plastic, finished in black and held on by a couple of small self tapping screws. Mine has come loose and wedged between the wing and the closing pod in the past.... Not ideal

Thanks Ian. Guess that's why mine are absent? I thought they might be chrome bezels like MG/TR7 etc. J C.

The plastic ones became hard to find and people took to using chrome some time back.

Aren't the mini classic and porsche 911 the same?...Obviously not in price....There are a few plastic but they are silly money...£100 whereas the chrome is under £30...
