Honestly there is something seriously fking wrong with some poeple.
Came in to an influx of customer this morning on a certain well known marketplace sometimes known as fleebay complaining they have not got their item within the usual 1-2 days.

Have had various emails throughout this morning about the same thing and demanding refunds. Are they seriously fked in the head or something?
The country has been grinding to a slow halt, supermarket shelves are partically empty, RM didnt even collect for 3 days in a row as all the major depots were closed around us and people are moaning about it and wanting a full refund.

Most staff couldn't even get to work across the country, people died because of storm emma and the beast from the east and people are moaning about an item taking up to 5 working days to deliver which is actually RMs first class post up to time frame anyway

Tossers.

People are tts.

I ordered a few items from the same onlne market place last week expecting to see them last week but have not because the weather was poor and it caused problems in the delivery chain, it has not crossed my mind to complain or ask for a refund because I understand how it goes.
A lot of people seem to be utterly clueless and are only too quick to show how little they know.

That might be the case in your area, but not everywhere. Last week we had a couple of nights of snow, but it melted in the daytime, and none of the roads or shops were effected.

Everybody has had a diet of doom from the media about how bad it is/will be so even if it was bright sunshine where the buyer lives they cannot have failed to have been informed about what was happening everywhere else but their little bubble.

I'm assuming you didn't send a courtesy email, informing customers that their orders may be delayed due to the weather?

How many people even bother with the mass media nowadays? I've been listening to the radio a little bit, but didn't really take any notice of it, and I certainly wouldn't've guessed that there was an area where the shops were empty and the Post Office had ground to a halt. I don't see how it can be that bad. How did people get to the shops to buy all of their stock if it's so bad that nobody can deliver any more stock there? It just doesn't make sense.

I thought there would've just been a few minor delays in a few places, and I suppose most Internet customers would think the same way.

There's something something seriously wrong when threads bear the title "Something seriously wrong" but when you go open it, it just relates to a gripe about something that is not seriously wrong

We (in Cheshire) haven't had something apparently shipped from Birmingham and due last Wednesday worst case.

Not been any major issues on that route but I realise it's more complicated than that.

I haven't contacted them yet but at what point should I let them know it hasn't turned up?

RM's Lincoln distribution hub was inaccessible, you should pay more attention. All those internet orders, they're currently fulfilled out there in the real world.

Maybe you'd be better informed if you did?

The couple up the road from us are postmen. EE mobile network was down, so they walked across the fields to our house to use the landline to tell their sorting office they wouldn't be able to get to work that day. They walked across the fields because the lane was blocked with 6ft deep drifts. And we aren't even in one of the worst hit bits of the country.

We didn't have collections all last week and ended up driving a week's worth of post to the main depot.

No complaints so far, even though we do alot overseas where they might not be aware of weather issues.

Colleague was boasting this morning how he claimed his delivery charge back from a well-known retailer because they missed their delivery time slot by 1.5 hours on a day when the snow drifts were 4ft high. rolleyes

There are villages in Cumbria still cut off - the RAF is dropping food etc by helicopter.

Clickbait titles irritate me too.
