One other Q if I may - are TVR diffs and half-shafts (in my case early-Tuscan) up to the job of handling the increased torque of the LS, or have folks made changes in either of these area to suit?
Depends on what LS your going for, standard LS3 I would say yes to diff and drive shafts.I went with standard diff (different ratios) and up rated GKN motorsport drive shafts, have had no problems with 600bhp/650lbs/ft.
Saying that I did have problems with CV joints, brand new set of 4 CV joints all failed, have now been replaced with GKN motor sport items.
