To be honest any of the 3 Brit framebuilders of the 90s;
D.O.G.S B.O.L.X

The Yates you mention;

And the Dave Lloyd Cats Wiskas

They were all pretty much competing with each other for best acronym at the same time smile

Probably the same amount side to side as it manages up and down!

I've always loved the name of the Orange Clockwork:

^ Good shout.

Back in the day Orange did a really cool jersey that was black with loads of orange logos all over it like polka dots. Would love one of them if they did a re-run.

I've got what I believe to be one of the early design Clockworks, shame someone has resprayed it and made the frame too big for me.

That Fat Chance is gorgeous. I used to love my Syncros Cattle prod stem with the hinge, thought it was the coolest thing in the world smile

Dang Zippee beat me to it!

20 odd years later, that's that frame is still famous for its name! I remember it being on Blue Peter, and they took tippex to a couple of letters.

When I was little, a boyfriend of my sister's wore a T-Shirt with "Fat Chance Yo Eddy" on it, and to this day I never knew what it meant.

I feel like a little piece of my soul is now happier.

I've always liked my mate's "Jake the Snake" by Kona, which I believe is still in production.

How about the Pegoretti 'Big legged Emma'?

I think I've got the correct frame builder/bike name without looking it up!

I had a clockwork back in about 1990, way cooler bike than I deserved. I had a helmet cover with aforementioned orange polka dots on too.
Gary Fisher's "Hoo Koo E Koo" had a good name, but it's named after a place so Gary can't really have the credit all to himself.

My sister had a Raleigh Roxanne when she was about 6 or something. Horrible sit up and beg bike with a basket on the back. Anyway, because she thought it sounded posh or something and not understanding the meaning she decided to call it "Little Suicide". I enjoy reminding her of that once in a while!
