Simple car respray costs

I've just bought a 2nd hand Perodua Myvi on the cheap, it is totally inundated with scratches, I would like to get it resprayed simply, no window or trim removed etc. What kind of cost is involved.

Also how about costs for just prepping it? Thanks for any insight

You might struggle to get someone to do this kind of work for fear of their reputation or repercussions.

My old Merc looks pretty good but has lacquer peel on the plastic front bumper. Tried three places now and they're all in the £3-400 region. They all agreed the car isn't worth spending that on, but none would entertain a more "economy" job, other than knocking off a token amount if I removed the bumper and took it in.

Watch all the wet sanding YouTube videos you can find and try that, you'll be amazed what can be achieved.

theres always some know all that knows a man that does show cars for the price of a few beers

if its a cheapish banger best bet is it leave it ..id rather see honest scratches than a bodged up cheapo repaint
