Not sure what the price is, but I imagine it makes a new GT3 look very cheap.

I wish they would build normal cars, not £500k ones.
that car is great bar the inside looks like a w
e house.
Not seen any interior pics ?that car is great bar the inside looks like a w
e house.£500k. I suppose if you’re spending that much on this it’s part of a collection...
Be amazed if anyone bought that as their one special car
I would have hoped for an even lower weight given carbon tub and body - still would quite like one - looks like some type of small 911 while being light weight and new technology
Can’t afford one though unfortunately and at that price point I would need to buy a CGT first.
Would be an awesome (semi-)daily car to put next to the CGT though

The weight just doesn't make sense to me. A full carbon shell and it still comes in at 1250kg empty. I'd have expected 150kg less than this at least.
as it says DIN, it is probably with 90% fuel and might even be with the driver (although not sure about that) - still would have thought a full carbon, smallish 911 should be even lighter Cheib said:

So I don't know if this will be visible:

Well done to ruf for doing what we have wanted porsche to do for some time.
I will take the clubsport version with out the awefull interior,100kg less, the seats look very retro lolipops!
Carbon is not always light in the structural zones in such a shape, can be like 7mm thick in places.
Try weighing the gt2rs or new rs,with driver and fuel, most have forgotten what its like to drive a lightweight 911.

On the specs on the Ruf website it quotes 1250kg as the DIN kerb weight so (if true which is a bit of an if in my experience of Ruf) it is in fact pretty light, I know what you mean tho' with a complete new ground up spec with lots of carbon you would have thought they could have made a spectacularly light weight 911...
