Does anyone have recommendations for cataract surgeons in the Thames Valley/London area?

I had mine done at Cobham (Surrey) Hospital on the NHS. Excellent service.

I'm not sure where he works, but my mother had hers fixed by Richard Packard. He is one of their neighbours in Berkshire

I believe predominantly private.

I had my lens replacement carried out on the NHS at the Royal Berks hospital Reading. Brilliant service,they even phoned me at home saying "we have a slot Saturday morning do you want to pop down".All done that morning,my eye sight is now perfect. (for a 70 year old)

im just in the throws of this with my mum


shes got one knackered eye and her good eye has cataracts now,
i spent nine hours at the eye hospital with her in manchester, disgrace ( eye pressure was 48)

the trouble is shes bright as a button, so shes on the web everyday googling potentiial pitfalls of it
and has probably put it off too late,

so shes going in a couple of weeks as a priority
