I think I just saw an apache fly over waterloo as my train was leaving this evening. I did not think they would be around London ...

Yes seen Chinooks but never an Apache.

Not a half day well unless you mean 12 hours as a half day?

2 flew over Fleet Station heading towards Farnborough and following the train line - haven't they got sat-nav?......

Yes, but following the lines gives them the chance to go 'DAGA, DAGA, DAGA' at the 8.15 commuter train.

Just spotted a pair of these doing manoeuvres over Weston Super Mare, the helicopter museum to be precise.

Helicopter museum has a landing site so a regular stop off for a touch and go.
