As the title says

Recommend me a bag not a ruck sack. Needed for my laptop and general items like passport headphones etc. I will be using it daily as well as for travel.

Budget not important just practicality

Thoughts

Thanks MG

Bag for life from Tesco?

When it wears out you just bring it back and get it replaced for free.

You can't do that with a Samsonite.

Here you go.

Cheap, reusable, and easy to replace.

Ok - to clarify

Not a supermarket bag

Something along the lines of a Billingham in terms of quality

Wenger.

ETA Didn't see the Billingham reference. May be a little below par, but good enough for me.

Never heard of a Billingham so I may be way out here but I got a decent bag for that purpose from the Antler outlet store a couple of years back. Use it every day and it's still in great nick despite being chucked about a bit. Cost about £70 IIRC.

Trakke bags? http://trakke.co.uk/shop/

I love mine for when I want something a bit more rugged than a leather bag.

How about a nice eco-friendly genuine natural jute bag?

Perfect over-the-shoulder carry-all for your gas mask and sandwiches. smile

I use this, very good and sturdy. Opening a little fiddly but soon got used to and looks good. I was happy to pay multiples price wise but this just ticked all the boxes for me.

You sir will be after a satchel\messenger or man bag as it's more commonly known. Ted Baker do some very nice one's.

I was reluctant to get my first one as they do scream hipster tt but now I wouldn't go to work without.
