Internet rock radio

Just got myself a new av receiver that has internet radio.
There's literally hundreds of stations for each genre.
I'm only interested in classic rock.
Any recommendations ?

I tend to like Radio Caroline still, mostly old stuff with a bit of new, album tracking as well i.e they played Rock And Roll Band by Boston from the first album ten minutes ago, some stations only play More Than A Feeling.

I quite enjoy absolute radio. They have different versions including classic rock

I listen to planetrock and absolute already as they are mainstream stations available on dab.
I was specifically asking about internet only stations.
Does no one use internet radios or explore internet only stations on their pc,phones etc ?
Somebody must be listening to these stations lol

I found Most are American ,with a lot of rubbish dj’s,and lots of ads .

May not be "classic" enough for you but I often listen to "The Rock" which is based in Auckland, NZ. There's still ads but I don't find them as annoying.

"The Sound" are NZ as well and may be more up your street, meant to be 60s/70s/80s but it does have quite a rock slant: http://www.thesound.co.nz/home/playlist.html

Aardvark Rock FM is good.

However if you're looking for a blues station - Aardvark Blues FM is excellent.

I normally start with the ones with highest bitrate. No point in listening to radio stations using 48kbs as sounds worse than MW. Look for a minimum of 128kbs,

I found 181fm to be good which is free. I pay a subscription to RadioTunes to get 320kbs as I am listening to it through a set of Studio Monitors on my work PC. No talking, no adverts, just the music.

I listen to Shoutcast, there is a station called "Desert Session Radio" streaming Rock/Stoner 24/7 without moderation, news or advertisement.

Primordial radio? Mainly heavier stuff but they do a mix.
