Just had mine done @ Leven. (great people) Took just over an hour. Leven fit recon units with a upgraded soli as this is the part that normally gives up (I told!)
£250 plus labour plus VAT.
Mine was covered under my AA warranty!

At first thought it was my battery not holding a charge so checked battery and it was 87% full tends only to fail when engine has been run for a bit then just getting a tick sound as it trys to engage i can come home and it wont restart leave it overnight and then in morning it will start so i think it could be a lazy starter any advice much appreciated

Paul, is the tick sound from the starter or from the relay in the boot ?

The tick sound comes from the starter area could be more complicated than first thought maybe alternater not charging will have to check that out first
