Bose 991.1 vs Bose 991.2 improvements?

Anyone know if the Bose has been improved on the gen 2 vs gen 1.
Was not a big fan on my gen 1. Too boomie..

Not sure but can tell you the BM option is fantastic and a lot better than the bose 992.1 as i compared them at the dealer before specccing....however the tire roar in all 911s is quite loud so a high end system is questionable but the BM can also go rather loud too before losing control

Yes I hear good things about BM. Not an option on the GT3, and with less soundproofing in the GT3 probably just stick to standard radio.

I have got BM in my Turbo S and stationary the system sounds fantastic, but as you say on the move with the tyre noise it certainly doesn't sound as good.... But it can go loud...

IMHO I am not sure it's worth the extra over the Bose in most situations, so will only option the Bose next time.

I went from a .1 to a .2, both with Bose, and the improvement in the .2 is substantial, as previously mentioned there is lots of tyre noise so to some extent the improvement at speed is academic
